25 years
Wow, I can't believe that it has been 25 years since I brought this sweet little one home. Yep, that is right, Keena will be 25 years old tomorrow. I can't even begin to tell you all of the joy that she has brought to my life. I know that I have missed so much during her life but I am really glad that God chose me to be her Mom. I have included some pictures ---sorry the quality isn't better---the scanner wasn't working so I took pictures of the pictures.

Summer Spectacular
We just finished 3 days at Summer Spectacular which is a vacation bible school on steroids. We spent an hour each night in bible classes learning about Esther and then we went to the auditorium for a Broadway type musical production of the story of Esther. It was great. They had to split the production into two sessions this summer due to the large turn out in the past. They said that we had 2800 people at this first session each night and that they have 1800 already signed up for session 2 starting tonight! Wow, what a huge blessing this is to those that normally don't hear God's message.
Charles had a great time. The cast stayed after the production each night and signed the kids shirts and gave out gifts to the kids. King Xerxes handed out plastic swords which I think was Charles' favorite. This was a huge milestone for Charles. He has always been afraid of anyone in costume. Once he got started though there was no stopping him.
Here are some pictures:

Amanda is 19!

Well today is Amanda's 19th birthday! Whoo hoo! We did some celebrating at Clayton's mom's house on Sunday. We are also looking forward to a birthday dinner tonight with Amanda & Frank. Amanda has been wanting a laptop computer since she went off to college last spring and now she has one. Hopefully, she will get some school work done on it along with the games that I am sure she will be playing!
Happy Birthday Amanda!
