Let the Remodeling Begin!

We are going to remodel the middle bathroom in our house. I didn't think to take pictures before the process began but here are some after Clayton began tearing everything out.

This is the floor where the vanity was...........

Cabinet removed

This is the wall where the vanity was---completely gutted!
This is the old shower & tile. Can't wait for it to go!
I am sure that this will be a long process but I will post pictures of the progress and the completed project once we are finished.

Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful day with Clayton's family on Thanksgiving. We spent most of the morning, cooking and getting things ready. This is the first year that we have actually had Thanksgiving dinner at our house, but it all turned out great----and for a bonus---The Cowboys won!

Here are some pictures of the day!
Rosemary & Gene with Charles
Rick & Danny kicked back watching the game.
Barry & Keena watching the game!
Clayton enjoying some pie!
I pray that all of you had a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day! We all have so much to be thankful for---family, friends, health, and the freedom to serve our God!

Mariah

I don't post many pictures of Mariah because most see them on Mandy's blog, but I thought I would take a journey through her 31/2 months and post some of my favorites of this little bundle of joy.

Japanese Festival

Clayton, Charles and I spent a wonderful day in the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and the Japanese Festival. There were many booths displaying the Japanese arts which was very interesting but we mostly just enjoyed the beautiful day.

Japanese Pagoda, view of the water, two turtles sun bathing on the bank.

Charles loved the many giant goldfish swimming in the water.

I loved all of the flowers in bloom...............if you look really close in the second picture below there is a butterfly on the flower.

Charles then became the center of attention with lots of fun pics..........

my boys........

Clayton and Charles finished off the day with a game of frisbee.

We really enjoyed the beautiful day outside---especially after all of the recent rains.

Shane & Jessi's wedding

On October 10th, Clayton, Charles & I had the priviledge of attending my nephew's wedding. It was really pretty and a lot of fun. Below are a few snapshots of the event.
