Vacation! Sea World and more!

We went on vacation to San Antonio over the July 4th holiday. We all had a great time. Here are a few memorable shots from the trip.

Of course, the first stop was SeaWorld. Here are a few shots of Shamu.


Here are the dolphins in the Azul show.

Then of course the boys had to feed the dolphins!

I loved the Sea Lion show but just didn't get any great shots there. The ski show was good too but they move way too fast to get good pictures.

The next day we went downtown and toured the San Jose Mission. Clayton and I were there back in October so I won't post more pictures of the mission but we did take a few shots when we got there.

Then we went to Ripley's Believe it or not! It was pretty interesting.

for instance, this huge faucet with running water is not attached to the wall.

I also discovered that they will paint on anything. Very fascinating to me.

These were all famous women painted on snake skin.

I found this next one to be amazing---someone took spider webs and mixed them with soap and water to make a canvas. They painted scenes from the bible on them. The 1st one is life size and the 2nd is zoomed in to see the detail.

Then they had all of the presidents faces painted on black beans! Those are so tiny.....how do you see to paint on those!

Then we went to the wax museum.

Then my personal favorite. The Lord's Supper.

We also went to Fiesta Texas but we must have been camera'ed out by then. We didn't take any pictures there.

Graduation!

He did it! Barry graduated at 16! Since Marcus didn't have all of the transcipt information he started the year as a junior but about half way through the year they realized that he only needed a couple more classes. He was able to change his schedule and was suddenly a senior. Here are a few shots from the big day!

Here he is in line to get his diploma and he actually found us in this crowd of people.

Here he is afterwards with his Dad. Way to go Barry! He plans to go to junior college here in Flower Mound for a couple of years.
